Aloha Vernon

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Vernon E. Knight. Vern was a dedicated environmentalist— a long-time supporter, life member, donor of the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi, committed leader of the High School Hikers program and trail building programs, as well as a regular outings and service trip participant.

A celebration of life will be held at Oʻahu Cemetery Chapel, 2233 Nuʻuanu Ave, on April 18, 2023. 10:00 Visitation, 11:00 Service, Refreshments to follow, 1:30 Burial (for family only). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the U.H. Swimming and Diving Team or the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi.
