The online fundraiser is closed but if you missed out, we will be hosting a special one-day pop-up fundraiser at our Virtual Tree Planting event on Saturday, December 10, 9am-12pm at James Campbell High School, Building O. Event details here!

As the holiday season approaches, the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi has partnered up once again with local textile artists Elizabeth Kent and Ellen Godbey Carson for a special holiday fundraiser.

Between November 1-30 (while supplies last) new monthly donors and one-time donations of $75 or more made online will receive a one-of-a-kind gift handmade by Elizabeth or Ellen. Elizabeth has graciously donated ceramic goods as well as scarves, vests, table runners, shawls and jackets and Ellen has generously donated her gorgeous handmade quilts all made from repurposed vintage kimono.

You can view preview all of the gifts below, items subject to availability as gifts are first come first served with preference given to order of donations received.

Donations and gift groups are as follows:

  • Sign up as a new monthly donor at $5/month or make a $75 one-time donation: Infinity scarf

  • Sign up as a new monthly donor at $10/month or make a $150 one-time donation: Long scarf

  • Sign up as a new monthly donor at $15/month or make a $200 one-time donation: Table runner, vest, or shawl

  • Sign up as a new monthly donor at $20/month or make a $300 one-time donation: Handmade jackets, treasured kimono jackets, and ceramic goods

  • $1,000 one-time donation: Kimono art quilt

*Monthly donations must be made for 12 months minimum, exceptions may apply
*Gifts are non-transferable between gift groups

100% of your donations will stay here in the islands. Donations are non tax-deductible and will support our grassroots advocacy and lobbying work to defend our natural and cultural resources and the lives that depend on them, protect our open spaces, and hold corporations accountable.

Once you make your donation, you will receive an email from hawaii.chapter@sierraclub.org with instructions about how to choose your item. If you have any questions, please email hawaii.chapter@sierraclub.org or call us at 808-538-6616 ext 1.
