Native plant month free plant giveaway

April is Native Plant and Earth Month—what a combo to celebrate! We’re celebrating by giving away free native plants and trees on Saturday, April 8 from 9am-12pm (or until we run out of plants) at Nānākuli Intermediate and High School, A Building.

With the help of Hui Kū Maoli Ola and Nānākuli High School teachers, we will be giving away native plant species that are known to thrive in the climate of West Oʻahu on a first come, first served basis.

We’ll also have our super volunteer tree experts on hand to help you pick the right plant for you—whether you live in an apartment, rental or house with open space—and give you tips to help your new plant thrive.
