TL;DR - Large amounts of leaking fuel. Some spills caused by human error. Understaffing. Those are some of the shocking revelations made to U.S. Rep Kai Kahele during a recent high-level tour of the Navy’s Red Hill underground fuel storage tanks.

“There’s not trace amounts of fuel. There’s a lot of fuel,” said Kahele.
