Molokaʻi is challenged by energy rates that are nearly 400% higher than the national average? Molokaʻi is home to around 7,500 people, many being Native Hawaiians. Hoʻāhu Energy Cooperative Molokaʻi is trying to alleviate energy poverty by offering affordable rates and creating a 100% local workforce that will create a truly local sustainable energy economy.
