You helped us have one of our best years yet

With the holidays among us and the new year just around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to share my deepest gratitude for you and your continued support this year.

As I reflect upon this last year, I am blown away by what we were able to accomplish together. This was my first full year as director and I couldn’t have asked for a more memorable year. We took our Red Hill campaign to the next level, restored water to East Maui streams, fought harder than ever for energy production that benefits, not harms, communities, and we even met some longstanding fundraising goals.

The work that we do can be lonely and arduous. For every win we achieve there are countless other injustices needing to be addressed, making each accomplishment that much more meaningful yet a constant reminder that our work is never done. But knowing that the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi has such a strong support system from people like you makes every day easier.

Before the year comes to a close, I encourage you to take a peruse through our Mālama Monthly digital newsletters and social media to soak in all that you made happen. Collectively, we can accomplish so much more than we could individually. Thank you for all that you do for not only the Sierra Club but for Hawaiʻi and beyond.
