Litigation Station: East Maui & Red Hill

The Hawaiʻi Environmental Court has not yet issued a ruling in our case against BLNR over the exploitation of East Maui's streams, as we had anticipated before 2020 came to a close. We are still sitting on the edge of our seats, awaiting a ruling. We will let you know as soon as we hear and be sure to sign up for our East Maui email list if you haven't yet. ICYMI: Read about our case and trial here.

We have challenged the inadequacies of the permit proposed that allows the U.S. Navy to operate the massive, rusty fuel tanks over Oʻahu’s drinking water supply. This suit could bring us a big step closer to retiring the Red Hill fuel tanks. We are gearing up, our trial is currently scheduled for February, subscribe to our Red Hill email list for the latest updates.
