Sierra Club files motion for summary judgement in suit against Health Department

On January 8, the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi filed a motion for summary judgement in our suit against the Department of Health. This motion asks the court to rule to invalidate the Department of Health’s special exemption for the Red Hill fuel tanks because they are inconsistent with state law. The rules improperly exempt military tanks and do not enforce the minimum requirement to upgrade tanks to prevent leaks. You can read the motion here.
