Three ways to prep for 2021 Legislative Session

The 2021 Legislative Session is less than two weeks away and will run from January 20 to April 29th. The State Capitol will remain closed to the public, with public hearings hosted via zoom video conference—for those giving verbal testimony—and live streamed on the House and Senate Youtube accounts—for those who want to watch online.

It will be more important than ever for the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi to be the watchdog for environmental and working family protections. Here are three simple things you can do to prepare for this upcoming, unprecedented session.

  1. Sign up for updates and action alerts from our CapitolWatch program here.

  2. Create your Hawaiʻi State Legislature account if you haven’t already. It is likely that the legislature will only be accepting and counting testimony through their online system, so it’s best to be prepared. Register today here.

  3. Stay up to date on our priority bills this session at hawaiicapitolwatch.org.
