MAHALO NUI to ALOHA Collection!
Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi selected once again for the ALOHA Collection Giveback Program
For the third year in a row, the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi has been selected to be one of the beneficiaries of the ALOHA Collection Giveback Program, which has provided our Chapter with vital resources to carry out our work.
ALOHA Collection is a highly popular local lifestyle brand founded by two Native Hawaiian women looking to produce functional and stylish travel bags and other accessories. Every year, their Giveback Program donates 5% of their profits to Hawaiʻi-based conservation organizations as a way of giving back to the community, and to help preserve the cultural heritage and natural beauty of Hawaiʻi nei. After the Lahaina fires, ALOHA Collection also provided care kits and bags to support immediate disaster relief, and fundraised an additional $300,000 for ongoing relief efforts.
The Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi is deeply grateful and very proud to be among the dozens of local mālama ʻāina organizations across the islands that the Giveback Program has chosen to support.
Mahalo nunui to ALOHA Collection founders Heather Aiu and Rachel Leināʻala Soares, as well as the Giveback Program team for their continued generosity and support!
