Help us start 2024 off strong as we dive into an action-packed legislative session, and a pivotal year for our islands.

Today we are launching a monthly donor match drive, Pledge Beyond the Ledge. What happens at the legislature is critical and we are prepared to fully engage with the lawmaking process, and help our members and supporters like you do the same. However, the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi’s work extends far beyond the capitol’s walls—whether it is through the courts, before executive branch agencies, or in the community, we work tirelessly year round to protect our ʻāina, people, and ways of life from special interests who care little for the integrity and future of these islands we call home. 

This year, we must focus on protecting our streams and aquifers from further pollution and corporate waste; holding the Navy accountable for its contamination of our ʻāina and wai; integrating equity and justice into our clean energy transition; supporting the people of Maui Komohana as they work to restore Lāhainā in a way that models the just and resilient future that our islands desperately need; and so much more.
