The Hawaiʻi Chapter gives you the opportunity to get involved locally through activism on county and state issues, educational events, and much more. Our chapter is made up of four groups – providing more opportunities to participate in your local area including hikes, outings, and activism.
We also have two special “sections” that focus on conservation and educational efforts. The High School Hikers program helps build high school student’s hiking skills and environmental awareness. The Hawaiʻi Service Trip program provides opportunities to spend several days or a week actively preserving Hawaiian ecosystems.
Visit your local group’s page or contact the chair to find out how to get involved on your island with the Sierra Club.
